I'm currently on a diet trying to loose weight for my holiday in the summer. But I'm going out on a girls night out next weekend and going for a chinese after. I really dont want to put on weight, one time won't hurt will it?
O go for it im with w/s on this -I have the occasional chinese and it hasnt harmed me at all -in fact it makes the dieting more bearable -would watch the rice tho -just cos i think its stodgy and IMO it detracts from the flavour of the dish -just have chips instead lol !!!!
I agree with the others and would advise - go for it, you deserve it. I did read a list saying what was the 'better' options to go for when eating out and in chinese it is Chow Mein so you may prefer to go for that. I am sure you could manage a wee bit exercise the following day (or the day after depending on hangover) if it made you feel a bit better. Don't be hard on yourself though. Enjoy x
If you wanna be good, have boiled rice rather than fried, and have something like vegetables in black bean sauce. And stop when you are full. But I really wouldn't worry about it.
One night will not hurt, no. Enjoy yourself, otherwise there's no point in going. Don't all the diet thingies say you should have occasional treats anyway? I know it's a 'big' treat, but it shouldnt' stop you living your life. Have a lovely night.
Don't worry about eating a Chinese meal. You have to eat don't you! The alcohol you will probably consume could be more than the Chinese. Enjoy yourself. My tip is lay of sweets, chocolates, biscuits and cakes which are much more likely to get you fat.
