Thing is, they are forever changing the formulas anyway so the dye that might have been ok last month, might do this to you this month!
ALWAYS do a skin test in future.
Theres not a lot you can do unless you have something such as sudocrem you could put on, or just a cream for burns but read the instructions first before you apply anything.
All the best.

Hello ellen80 this very same thing happened to me. I had used hair dye for years and then suddenly I had a very bad reaction. The next day after using it my head started to explode, it was like blisters kept on coming and weeping all the time. It spread to my face and ears and then through my whole body, it got so bad that I was constantly washing my hair and rinsing it with cold water all day long. I went to the doctor after about 2 days and saw a skin specialist who prescribed steroids, he said that these were the only thing that would help. They did help after about a week, but I had to have two courses before the problem finally cleared. My advice is do not be fobbed off with any silly creams or portions get to see a specialist and insist on the steroid stuff. Anyway do not ever use a hair dye again as like me you have aquired a severes reaction and it will only get worse. I am speaking from experience.
