the one whos awake! the one asleep isnt being woken up by it! :)
i would think that it would be the person woken by it but you could always try to get the snorer instead to move.

Hav asked this question a lot lately and my female friends say that the snorer should move and my male friends say the awake person should move.... how strange. Which sex are you's?
Im female! sorry lol
Well Mr Funny keeps moaning about my snoring and I told him to kip in the spare room!!!

There is no way I am leaving my lovely bed!!!

P.S. I don't snore, I know I don't!!!!
I'm female and I would say the wakee should move as opposed to the waker. The snorer often can't help snoring; myself and my friend have had this conversation recently - she sleeps in the spare room and I sleep on the sofa!
When my fella snores, he gets an elbow in the side and me telling him to shut up! Which does tend to work!
:)
Although it may be ungallant of me to mention it.............Mrs M snores. She has many variations and these include the rasping snort, the bubble blowing, the cheek-puffing out and 'pfffft' ...........sometimes there is a variation in volume and tone and occasionally she can be quite tuneful...........

However, it is usually the curtain-sucking snort and trumpet that drives me into the spare room............

I wouldn't dream of waking her up and asking her to move rooms.... :o)
My other half snores,he can be heard from a different room he's that loud! We don't have a spare room as our house is a 2 bed terrace and our son has the other bedroom.I sleep in the lounge because of the snoring and because I have to sleep in a sitting position due to severe breathing problems.
The practical answer has to be that the one who is awakened moves but I can understand how frustrating that would be.
Mr O can rattle them out so loudly he even wakes himself up. If an elbow or two in the ribs fails, I clear off to the spare room.
If he's got a cold, his snores are off the decibel scale and he's banished to the spare rooom.
one of the first symptoms i get when pregnant is the snoring!
But Mr CRX snores all the time so i suppose we just balance each other out. If Im stopping him sleeping he gently wakes me by asking me to turn over onto other side and if hes snoring i gently wallop him in the back

oh dear Mr M is sooo smug now, this means i hav to go to the spare room tonight!!!!!
Wouldn't it make more sense for the one being woken by the snoring to invest in a set of ear plugs ? That way neither one has to head to the spare room
My other half gets cross because I, apparently, snore. Well, maybe I do but I'm fed up with being 'elbowed' in the back because I'm snoring when I'm actually awake because I'm so worried about stuff! I think it's because he wakes himself up and then gets cross and takes it out on me. Grrrrrrrr.......... Anyway, he then goes into the other bedroom in a total huff.. And I'm glad to be rid of him. SO THERE!!!!
Don't take any notice of them moranclan, and don't you dare sleep in the spare room! The snorer is the offending partner and should be forcibly evicted to reverberate elsewhere!
