My mother had it for Cancer, it didn't hurt or didn't take long at all! Hope you're ok chick x

Yes. I had a few months of radiation treatment last year and suffered a few side effects but I'm fine now. The only thing is I'm suffering from really dry skin mostly my hands which are itchy and starting to get sore. I have never suffered with this before. Could it be another side effect from the treatment?

Cant say my bloke side effects but come to think of it he does get really dry hands, but he is a carpenter

My Husband did not have radiation treatment, but did have chemotherapy and had the same reaction. Go to your GP and get a some emusifying cream. Possibly antihistamines too.

I will do cruella thanks, I hate always running to the docs with every little thing...I'll just phone and they'll leave me a prescription. : )

sandra do you have a farm shop nearby? if you do buy some udder cream, or you can get it off the internet, farmers use it on cattle but it's the best stuff for dryness caused by radiation, i work on an oncology clinic & the oncologist recommends it to our patients.

Hi someone at my work had radiation and she was left with very dry skin all over. The hospital told her to use either e45 or simple products. Hope you feel better soon.
