How do you know which ones would make your ears go horrible, and is there any way to stop it (other than the obvious of not wearing them) ?

It's normally an allergy to nickel, so either spend a bit more on nickel free earings, or for a cheap prevention, coat the backs, posts and butterflies in clear nail varnish! Not exactly long lasting but does the job for a few wears!

It was made against the Law in the UK for anyone to sell
Jewellery with Nickel In it , around 2002? or there about's
