After speaking to my Doctor I simply stopped taking it in the morning and now take it before I go to bed and have no problems with it now.
I get the faint thing ... just put that down to the reason I take it.
I'm also on amiodarone .... that comes with a ten volume encyclopedia of side effects .... and I got every one!
within a couple of days started thinking I was going to die .... after four weeks was whishing I could.
then after about 6 weeks is just stopped and settled down (all within a couple of days) and no problems now
maybe that masked the ram effects

all this talk of tums!
wife just reminded me that for a couple of weeks after I started doc gave me meds for period pains!!
(I'd completely forgotten [I think the ami is all I remember now]) but no cough.
give it time ... docs never mention side effects unless they have to ... if you did you'd get all of them!
even with the ami ... specialist warned a couple of "rare possibilities" my doc just patted me knowingly on the head everytime I turned up with something new.
But I can say that after a few weeks (a long time when it's YOU doing the time) for me it's always passed.
by my standards I feel pretty good most of the time.
as soon as they play with the mix ... but otherwise it's good
