Leaving out the obvious trite answer - stay drunk! - the best 'cure' for a hangover is prevention. The condition called a 'hangover' is usually the result of dehydration in the body caused by intake of alcohol. In order to alleviate this condition, it is reccomneded that you drink at least a pint of fresh water before you go to sleep. Early on, before you start your consumption, have a light snack - food in the stomach slows down the abosrbtion of alcoholo which causes the dehydration. It is reccomended that you drink at a slow pace, and avoid mixing beers, wines and spirits, and stop when you feel pleasantly 'relaxed' rather than indulging in the peculiarly British habit of attempting to give yourself fatal alcohol poisoning. If you observe the above, you should minimise the risk, and effect of a hangover. If you do find yourself afflicted, drink plenty of fluids, eat a small plain snack when the nausea has passed, and sleep as much as possible,
