It's fine if you know you have the maturity and insight into fatherhood as well as the financial means to support the child.
Other people's babies when they are all clean and smiling can look adorable, but consider at 17, how you will feel when your baby is screaming for food at 2am in the morning and you have to be up for work in 3 hours.
Also consider the financial committment. It costs thousands to provide a child with all they need from day one and beyond. If you cannot provide completely for it, please don't go out make a girl pregnant and then expect the tax payer to support you all.
If you want your life to have a purpose, go out, get an education, a good career, enjoy your youth and then when you are mature enough consider settling down and then having a family.

I always believe that things happen for a reason. So if something bad happens, it was for something better to come along. You just haven't given yourself the chance to look of an upside.
And I know it's easier said than done. Believe me, I'm one of the worst. (If you have a look further down this page, you'll get a little slice of what my life is like.)
But I'm always trying to make things better for myself. Leaving jobs to find a better one, leaving college and doing a better course.
I've done all the things you're talking about. You just have to think positively, and something will come along.
I wish I was as good at giving advice compared to taking it.
