What you think.
Boy of 16 always been on the thin side besides eating like a horse, He is at college training to be a chef but over the past two weeks or so he has gone off his food.
He doesn't want to eat meals and no matter how much his mum tries he doesn't seem interested in food at all. He is full of life still but suffering headaches. e is eating but not nearly as much as he should be.
What could possibly put a healthy 16 year old boy off his food?
Any thoughts would be interesting to hear.
Thanks for your time.

Could it be something as simple as at college he's dealing with food all day, chopping food, talking about food, writing about food and so on and by the time he gets home the last thing he feels like is food.
Have the headaches started recently. Might be worth a trip to the doc's to investigate possible migraines - I know when my husband has them he goes right off his food.

MMMMM thanks for that Buzz. He has said they are bad.
At least bad enough for him to down 12 paracetamol in 8 hours. Ended up having to call the NHS Direct line just to make sure he would be OK.
He's going to the quacks tuesday so we will ask then.
I have had only one or two Migraines myself I haven't noticed wether I go off my food or not.
Ty again thats something else that may account for it.
Has he tried taking anything like Migraleve?

Paracetamol will not work for me when I have a migraine but 2 migraleve pink and a bit of a rest and it usually shifts fine.

It's a lot of paracetamol to be taking in that amount of time.
