i'm four weeks late and have taken 3 home pregnancy tests and they all have came out negative can i still be pregnant?

Hiya! It is one of the possible explinations for being late. I would say go and see your GP as it may be that you have low levels of the pregnancy hormone, or there may be another reason why you are late. Either way, they should be able to help. My sister had 11 negative tests and the first one didn't turn positive til she was nearly 3 months gone! she had her pregnancy confirmed by her GP before this but carried on testing out of curiosity! I have just had my first period in 3 months.I knew there was virtually no chance of me being pregnant as my partner had a vasectomy 11 years ago so it would have been a miracle if I was.............it didn't stop me testing though.lol.
There are many reasons periods stop so if you are worried speak to your GP.

like the others said, see your GP. Yes tests can be wrong but there are many reasons why your period could be late.

While a home pregnancy test can be effective, hCG beta blood tests done at your doctor's office are in fact substantially more sensitive (they can detect hCG within ten days of conception) and, they give quantitative results (not the qualitative yes/no of a pregnancy test).
