I am going out tonight, my hair is frizzy and similar to Albert Einstein's, and my GHD's have blown up!! I can't afford to replace them just yet, so can anyone recommend a mid-range price that are really good.
Many Thanks

P.S. GHD's out of warranty!

I've got these Babylis ones and they're brilliant.

Mr J got them for me and did his research beforehand and came up with them.
what about setting your own trend? My hairdresser tells me curls are back, so if you have frizzy hair, you just need to buy one of those frizz to curl products = 5 even cheaper

Oh no...believe me, my curls are just awful!! There's no way to tame it other than use straighteners. I have really big curls, which work in really long hair, and mine's only shoulder length, so even with products, at the best I look like a Bee Gee!
Scooby,

This won't help you for tonight but DON'T buy more GHD's. Package up your broken ones and send them back to the makers. I have 2 friends who did this and got brand new pairs sent back. Both pairs had been owned for a couple of years and GHD still replaced them. Apparently their customer service is excellent!

Panic over folks!!! Clever old Mr Scooby has just fixed the *******! It was only the fuse after all. Men are quite handy to have around in a crisis methinks...I would've just gone out and bought a new set!! Sorry feminists! Lol!

Thanks for your answers anyway - will leep them in mind for when the GHD's really die!
