This weekend I had my hair highlighted professionally at the salon. I had mousy brown hair and wanted ash blonde. I've now got whitish streaks with gold tone blonde which I really didn't want! Is it too late for me to have it dyed back close to my natural colour or will this seriously damage my hair more? Help!

I know this is easier said than done but you should go back to the shop and tell them you are not happy with your hair and if they are professional they should do something about it. If I were you, I wouldn't try doing it myself.
bells i had same happen to me. i dyed mine back few days after i had mine done. i used a temp med brown and it gave me suttle hight lights which i liked. hope that helps
hi, as a hairdresser i would suggest going back and explaining it isnt quite what you wanted, they would rather you told them than attempt to do it yourself cos you could make it worse
if you insist on dying it back to your natural colour yourself, ensure you use a golden colour, it wont come out as golden as you think becuae if you use an ash colour you risk it going khaki.
