Eyebrow plucking

I do my own eyebrows but I don't know if I do them right. I have never brushed them befor eplucking so instead of looking like this http://www.angelinajoliewatch.com/wp-content/u ploads/2007/04/penelope-cruz-9.JPG which are groomed nicely my eyebrows have hairs going at all angles. I don't think they are plucked right but I don't know if a professional can correct them.

don't forget that photo'll be touched up to death :) i fill my brows with a bit of pencil (smudged a little so it's not too harsh). no ones brows are perfect, but you could try using a little brow brush with a smidge of hairspray to keep any determined stragglers in place. it might be an idea to let them grow back and then go to a salon to get them done just once - it's easier to maintain than to create *ponders doing the same*

I was thinking I might have to let them grow back. I can't describe what they look like. They can't really be corrected by brushing them, its just the way they are plucked must be wrong. I might have to grow them back and get them done professionally but what on earth will I look like.

I will try and find a picture of what mine look like. Not a pic of me but ones that are similar

the important thing is to be pulling the hair in the direction it grows or it will grow back wonky. Perhaps best to let them grow and get a professional to do it and then ensures you are getting the shape right for your face etc. Sometimes people just go at them too harshly. I do go to a beautician I trust and feel my eyebrows are shaped correctly. I have to do them myself sometimes but because i can see they are just the regrowth i know I am getting it right. It does sound like you have been pulling them in the wrong direction.

I was told that smearing vaseline on them in the evening/night time trains them into place..worth a try...but only when you're not going out of an eve...lol

Angelina and Penelope Cruz are naturally dark haired so they get really great brows and lots of hair to sculpt. If you have lighter hair or even less hair (ie- are not european like they both are!) then good brows are harder to do. The idea is just to have a decent shape and to maintain them by plucking only from underneath. My advice would be to go to a beautician and get them done once (�6) and then tweeze them yourself when they come through from underneath.
