When men go on a date for the first time are they only thinking about if there gonna get something at the end of it?

Sorry my first answer was flippant - I wasnt sure if it was one of the usual flippant questions.
I think you should make it clear what you are looking for when you meet guys and if they are interested enough in you as a person, then they'll be back, and not just look for a quick one-nighter.
There are so many guys on dating sites who are married, as raggy said, and they are not usually the best places to go looking.
After one of my relationships ended nearly 2 years ago, I decided not to bother with dating or seeing anyone again, and then totally out of the blue, I met this woman at a friend's house, and things just clicked.
Nine months later, it's still clicking.
Sometimes when you look, nothing appears, or the things that do appear are not what you hoped for.
Just take your time to get to know guys, and if they don't bother getting to know you, and disappear just because sex isn't on the cards, then they're probably not worth getting to know
Goos luck

R! thanks Y CYMRO! your a little sweetie, glad you've found someone to share your life with. My friends have said the same sort of thing to me. I just hate not having a man there for me. I guess your right about not looking, i meet my ex when i wasn't i just get a bit impatient somtimes. Hope your enjoying the sunshine!
It was strange for me not to be going from one relationship to another, and after a few months, I was quite happy with the situation. It was about 14 months later that I met her. Took me totally by surprise and caught me with my guard down. Which I'm quite glad about now.
I know what you mean about impatience, but don't make that appear like desperation - though i am sure you are not.
Enjoy being you for a while, and then who knows...

It's men's constant sexual needs that keep them 'on the prowl', even in old age, to death.
It's also very amusing to experience/watch or learn of the lengths and expense they go to for that ultimate aim to 'conquer' her/him or it!
Vacuum hoses, animals, or other deviations will suffice when they're poor/unsuccessful/bored with the norm.
