anal bleaching

Just saw a discussion in Film and TV about reality TV and one of the posters referred to a programme about anal bleaching. What is this procedure? Sounds painful!

Basically bleaching the hair on the bottom! Like dying hair on your head, not painful at all. Watch it tonight on Channel 5 at 11pm. Or was it on last nights programme hence the question?!

I don't have Channel 5, I was reading the thread in "film and tv" and one of the posters mentioned vanessa feltz presenting "live anal bleaching"! I am glad i don't have channel 5 now!

LOL. Its defo some sad jane doe. I am bit disappointed she is presenting such drivel as I saw her on a Sky One thing with Stan Collymore and they had to spend 24 hours together. She came across as very very intelligent (apparently member of mensa)

No it's not VF getting it done, it's some other beauty! I think it's mainly women who get it done. It's like the whole bikini wax thing that went too far in the USA. Basically even us women get hairy bum cracks and I think it's because it looks odd if you have a Hollywood (baldy genitals!) and then have a hairy bum! They bleach the hair blonde or a light colour and then it doesn't show as much, much like a woman would dye her "moustache".

I didn't/won't/haven't got it done! I'd rather shave ;o) Waxing would be WAY painful! It's bad enough getting a bikini wax (again wouldn't know about such things!!!) but up your butt crack?! Purlease, this is just taking things too far. If your fella doesn't like your hairy bum make him have his waxed first and then let him tell you he doesn't like it!!

Have to step in - 'twas I who posted on the TV section. The 'bleaching' in question was of the skin around... well... it apparently allows pole dancers to wear thongs and not look like there's a panda bear winking at the punters. something to do with hyperpigmentation. I need to get out more.

once you're done they send you home with the rest of the jar and the brush they used so you can continue to apply over the next few days - until you're happy with your new colour!

Everyone has hair on their bum!!! Even if its only a little bit. I worked as care assistant and have seen a lotta bums! I think anal hair bleaching is seriously going too far. What did strippers do before all this waxing and stuff came about?? People probably weren't as freaked out about hair as they are nowadays.

Yup its to do with the skin - rather than the hair. The crack that was being pasted with bleach was totally hairless and the camera really did get close enough to tell. Last night they showed the before/after shots and it was a *shade pinker* than before. That Cosmetic Surgery Live TV prog on C5 is unbelievable - just some of the up close and personal stuff they show on there they couldn't get away with unless it was even *slightly* related to cosmetic surgery. Apparently tonight they're showing the male anal bleaching segment... might give that one a miss.
