really disturbing dream
10 Answers
I went to bed really early last night as I had a migraine. when I was asleep, i had a series of really violent & disturbing dreams that make me feel sick to my stomach thinking about them. The only one I can remember involved taking my horse to a competition & then going to the box to get him out and finding he had been butchered and there was just a leg of him left. does anyone know what this means?! or what I can do to not have these dreams again?! sorry if this is a weird question, I'm just freaking out a bit!!

Dont know what it means, but I went through a phase of having dreams where I had accidently killed someone....didnt actually do it in the dream, but the dream started where they were already dead and I was scared and panicking, then I was disposing of the body and there was a foul smell and everything....it upset me a lot...thought I was a wierdo lol...thankfully dont have them anymore!
I don't think that you having a migraine is conducive to a good nights' sleep either! But you just need to try and forget those dreams and think of something pleasant as you go to sleep - worrying about them will not help you and keeps those images at the front of your mind. Just try to forget them. Hope this helps.
There was a dream expert on '' The Wright Stuff '' about 2 weeks ago and some of the people who phoned in about what they dreamed was very disturbing/funny, but I wouldn't worry to much.
Two nights ago, I dreamt I was in a pub that I used to run which was burnt down and I found these precious oil paintings, then a monkey and a Iguana floated down by parachutes and stole them from me.
How weird is that?

I image you love your horse dearly, you life evolves around it. I would suggest this dream represents a fear of losing what you have come to love and depend up on for pleasure. A little insecurity, in your subconscious mind. Because a leg was still present this is a limb and represents attachment to that it belonged to. The fact that it wasn't attached means you are wondering, fearing, thinking about the relationship of you and in this case the horse. You see a dislocated leg means relationship dis attachment in some respect. Overall I would say the dream represents the subconscience: a fear of losing something, apprehensive about a change and questioning your relationships.
