hair regrowth shampoo

my hair is at the moment receding and similar to callum best....a friend suggested loreal regrowth shampoo and it took him 2 weeks but it did work eventually. i shave mine very short but he says he lets it grow as it gets thicker backwards??? just paranoid if i grow it that it leaves a patchy look, wud rather shave....has anyone used regrowth shampoo????

Wear it cropped....please, not shaved! And dont grow a pony-tail.....sooooo pooffffy! Men with hair longer than their partners just dont appear masculine:(
