ELVIS taking deep breaths and smiling is a stupid resonse emotions needs to be expressed at some point.whitebear there is nothing wrong with crying if it helps you. i cry a fair bit lately as i found out my dad has a chronic progressive illness.1 idea is to write down everything that makes you sad and try and solve as many as you can.the ones that you cant solve you will keep crying over but it may give you a sense of achievement
WB, i came on here to ask that very same question!! I used to cry nearly every day. Now i dont cry as often, but i have been feeling v tearful recently. Like everything is getting on top of me in every aspect of my life.

I think i just think too much and feel 'alone' alot....

here is a hug {o}
I also cry daily. It's a feeling of despair that won't go away. I understand how you feel WhiteBear.
Hmmm, i havent cried for years and years.
I think its all built up inside me.
One day i suppose i am gonna let all my anger out :(

thanks for the response guys, i really appriciated your advices and how to cope with it.

when one thing goes wrong... then the next.. and the next... on the same wk, u sometimes feel the whole world is against u. and itjust gets u right down. and just want to curl up and just cry it all out.

not sure if its a coincident.. why does it happen? if one thing goes wrong then it just follows on like a piece a string.... and we all use these phrases once ina while.... 'im just having a bad day/week etc..' but it feels like an enternity for me!! :'(

i bought 'sex in the city' complete box set today, im sure it will no doubt take me mind off things x popcorns anyone? x

ithink abit of retail therapy later xx take care x
WB -mamya -has just lost her husband -that is tough.

I am currently in tears -yet again -for the 3rd time today as my son booked a holiday to Japan -he had everything all mapped out - and when I phoned this morning -instead of being In Heathrow awaiting his flight to Tokyo -he was still in Edinburgh as Heathrow is fogbound.

Now that in itself is not a problem but it was the best i'd seen him since his died was killed last year and I just wished that it would have gone smoothly for him -and im crying now as i cant help him.

He never speaks about his Dad but he said today -its Dads luck -and I actually had to ask him to repeat it as I thought he perhaps said its Bad Luck -he repeated it and he said its Dads Luck -and that has made me so sad that what should have been an adventure has turned into him thinking that he has literally been cursed -sorry for all that but my children are my world and I was so excited.I have texted him and he hasnt replied so I hope he has made the connecting flight and can relax -im just so sad that underneath his brave exterier he really believes that his dad was unlucky (he was) and it has now gone on to him.
Well well WB -mum (me lol) has dried her tears -my son is on his way -and never guess where to ..................Hong Kong -just for you baby lol xxx

He will of course get a connecting flight to Tokyo but thought that would make you smile xxxx
Awww Dris yes things have a way of working out for the best in the main. Hope he has a safe journey and a good time.

lol dris you are kidding right? should i post my address in order for him to find me quicker?
This may sound a bit facile but it's supposed to be impossible to feel depressed and to look up at the same time. It may well be that when you look down again the depression comes back but periodically looking up will enable you to have some control over negative feelings.
Question Author
bigl,

thanks i suppose youre right, but i have no confident, i look down so that no one can see my tears.

i cried at work today :(

sighs... x
Yes, so what I'm saying is looking down and feeling depressed go together. It's the looking down that enables you to feel bad. You seem to be saying you can't look up because you're unhappy and that's just what I'm saying - looking up and feeling unhappy just don't go together so look up and wait for another feeling.
I'm just suggesting this to give you a bit of control - there may be lots of things you need to change in your life, but you're more likely to be able to think straight if you can see beyond the depression.

thanks BigL
