Have you seen your GP and had any tests done?

How's your blood pressure?
wouldnt worry about it-loads of dizzy folk on here-so there is ..:<)
It could be your BP ..or vertigo ..
go and see your Dr.
Yep - see your GP, it could be Menires
What kind of dizziness its it, a faintness or more like things are spinning which is more vertigo?

Have you had any other symptoms?

I'd go see your GP for a general check up, blood pressure, blood count, blood sugar, ears etc...

How is your diet in the mornings? Do you eat or skip breakfast?

Don't scare yourself with something like Meniere's yet (no offence intended Ethel) as it's best to rule out simple explanations first.

I have menieres (as does, I think, Ethel) but the synptoms of everyone I've known who has it have been a lot more severe ie being thrown to the floor in vertigo attacks, hearing loss, tinnitus etc...
i also used to wake up feeling dizzy, then i started sleeping in my bed instead of sleeping on the local parks roundabout and it mysteriously went away! seriously tho get well soon!

Good advice fom Jenna 1978...take it.
Dont ignore the feeling, If you have noticed it then its worth paying attention.
Pay attention.
Even if its nothing serious.
It does not hurt to Check up, just for personal satisfaction, who knows you might sleep better.and it will go away.
also pay attention to the food you eat,Time you go to sleep,DO you wake up at once or slowly toss and turn,What position you sleep.
It could be even that you have many thoughts in your mind early morning,Try to relax in the mornings, Music helps.Exercise 3 times a week, will make you sleep better and lower any mental tension you have.
Could you possibly be pregnant? :)
