Rather have a small whisky than a large glass of wine & stuff the calories:)

A bit like the coffee vs tea, caffine situation though.

Pound for pound there is more caffine in tea than coffee, but when made as a drink coffee has substantially more.

So a person might drink 2-3 measures of Whiskey but drink a whole bottle of wine.

However if you look at the data provided by Zen, a serving of Whiskey (35ml) has 68 calories, but a glass of wine has 80 calories.
