Cheating with the same person could mean they have fallen for the person, and despite being an arse to their partner, they remain an "ok" human being, potentially - as long as the betrayal didn't last. Cheating with different people adds a bigger risk to the injury.....Total lack of respect for both their partner AND the persons they are seeing on the side, PLUS the nagging doubt that they might have caught something nasty and wouldn't think twice about passing it on....

Hmm I think both are bad in their own way. Like my good pal ~max~ here said that if it's cheating with the same person they're still potentially a decent person. However, the one that fools around with the masses then that individual doesn't know how to respect but in a way just wants fun.
Everybody wants fun so if that person doesn't have a partner and fools around with various people and those people are on the similar boat then neither are bad, they're just getting what they want without hurting anyone so long as they play safe in that respect.
I think I would have to agree with max to this question, this individual that's playing with several people is obviously uncommitted. But so is the one who is cheating with only one person but it would either seem the original couple wasn't right or they're just a complete a-rse.

Sounds cool, max!
I guess my best morning ever must be waking up next to my husband-to-be. He left me a little note later on, and at that stage, i had no idea that we'd end up married. Sloppy? You bet!!
Sammy - when you're single, the only way forward's to have fun and enjoy yourself, but once you commit to someone, then I think cheating's totally out of order.

That's sound. I'm still friendly with all my exes, but I was amazed at me and The Husband getting together really, because I'd "known" him for a while, but we were both with different people at first. Used to hang around with the same groups of people. Oh boy - was I relieved to know that he felt the same way about me as I felt for him! Waah hooo!!!
Cheating with several other people is worse as it is simply 'playing around'. Cheating with one other person, that's another story. It is possible to love more than one person, and an affair is not necessessarily just about sex. A person can have an affair yet remain in love with their marital partner, even though they love someone else too. It's very complicated. Try not to be judgemental.
