Late people, part 2......
9 Answers
Ok I think in the late people thread that we mostly agreed that it's rude and a pain etc etc. I didn't get any comments from actual late people. So here's your chance to put your side. Are you a late person? why are you late? is it deliberate? Are you misunderstood? do you find it odd when people comment on your lateness? Come on own up, you know who you are, why is it so difficult to arrive on time? How do you get jobs and keep them? As a non late person I am very curious. Also any shrinks out there care to offer a view? thanks

Arrogance that the 'late' person thinks they can get somewhere in 20mins, when it actually takes half an hour. The arrogance also shows itself in that the late person thinks that their time is more important than anyone else's.
I have never considered having 2 children an excuse for being late either. When they were young and in nappies etc, I just used to leave earlier and predict what child related scenarios could make me late and adjust accordingly.

i am a late person - i dont think its arrogance at all - i am a person with low self esteem and i also have slight anxiety issues which get worse when i have to sit around waiting so i always make sure i am not early for anything if that makes sense. I think me trying not to be early always seems to result in me being 5 mins late!! i am not proud of it but just offering an insight....
