is it like flashing lights? Fashing lights are one of the symptoms of a condition known as pre-eclampsia. The other symptoms are raised blood pressure, swelling (retained fluids) and protein in the urine. My suggestion would be to see your doctor or midwife and have these things checked out to rule out pre-eclampsia - and see what else, if anything, it could be. I hope you are sleeping better now!
Yes. GP, now. There are other possibilities, such as migraine, sometimes sinusitis, stress syndromes etc., most of which are no cause for concern but you must get checked out as soon as possible, to set your mind at rest.
GP NOW. This could be blood pressure, it could be serious or it might be nothing. Go to GP or phone the NHS Helpline immediately (please). Never ignore any symptoms of illness, especially when pregnant
I've just read this question. I have terrible floaters, and was referred from my optician via my GP to see a specialist. I was told that bright flashing lights can be a sign of a detached retina. Mine were OK, hope you are too
