to any one with tattoos out there any suggestions for where on my body  i could get one, somewhere covered up,its only gonna be small, was actually th9inking back of the neck and wanted something celtic, any suggestions guys???

Well, happytohelp,  (nice name by the way)   I have 5 tattoos atm, all were designed by me.  The simple answer to your question is "do you want a tattoo, and if yes where do you want it"

the point I am trying to make is that the tattoo will be there for life.  There is only you that can make the desision on where and what you get.  You can talk to a tattoo artist before being tattooed about the design, but ultimatly its on your head,     sorry if this is not the answer you wanted, it is however the truth.

I have one on the top of my spine/bottom of neck ...... the knobbly bit LOL

 

I did the design myself - its actually from a Renaissance stencil design (bottom of an urn ROFL) and it is lovely.

 

< P>Didnt hurt a bit ... just like having pins and needles in the area you have the tattoo done.  I can cover my tattoo up if I want to with just a regular t-shirt collar or I can show it off with a strappy top.  Not sure if that helps you though cos you might be a bloke in which case strappy tops are NOT your style!!

 

< P>Remember that this is somehting that is with you for LIFE.  Make sure you are 150% sure of the design and where you want it first.  Experiment with designs and sizes and stick em where you would like them to see if it would look good.

 

I decided at 20 I wanted a tattoo and it took another 16 yrs for me to find the design that shouted ME ME ME.  One I saw the design that was it and I had the tattoo done a few weeks later.  Have also got my next tattoo design ready for them to draw up for my lower back.

Obviously purely a subjective opinion, but tattoos on men or women are horrible - I've not gone out with girls before because the tattoos proved a real turn off - as are having bits of metal protruding from the face.

But, as I say, this is purely my opinion.

I have a tribal tattoo that starts on my arm and goes upto and over my shoulder down my back and down my chest. Think this might be a bit bigger than you require, but with a t-shirt on no-one even knows its there. I had this designed just for me which I prefer

I have tats on both upper and lower arms, my shoulder, my hip and thigh. Some of them just look nice there and some of them are in a particular place for a particular reason. The only places impossible to cover really are hands, face and front/side of neck, so I'd avoid those places. everyone else has given good advice - when you find the right design, it will speak to you. Spend some time searching on the net, not necessarily for a design you can copy wholesale, more for inspiration.

If you only want a very small one, and you want to cover it up.... why do you want to get one at all? But having said that, if you want Celtic, you may find you need to get it a little bit bigger than you originally thought to show the detail.

Always liked the butterfly at the base of the spine on girls. My girlfriend has a small rose on her left shoulder blade which is nice. I have a small tattoo on my ankle above a scar.

I have four tattoo's which are quite easy to cover one each on the tops of my arm and one on the small of my back, i also have one on my wrist which i can cover with a watch if i had to but i didnt get my tattoo's to have them hidden but each to their own.
