Face creases taking ages to go!

I went to have a massage the other day and for approx 40 mins was lying with my head in the hole in the massage table. When I got up there was a massive dent in my forehead where I had been pressed against the hole, this wasn't the problem, it was that, 6 HOURS later when I went to bed it was still there!

I have had marks before but never have they taken this long to go down, I am only 31 - surely my skin elasticity still has some years in it yet?! :-( Thank you

Skin taking that long time to recover when you are 31 usually meas one thing... You are very dehydrated. It will affect your skin considerably.

So, up your water intake, and if you pinch the skin on the back of your hand, you should see it spring back more quickly, as you rehydrate.

kiroo is so right - drink more water - I'm a million years old and when I go for a facial this doesn't happen to me and I've spent a lifetime in Africa. Turn down the central heating - keep warm by exercise (if poss) and rehydrate. Have you been a sun worshipper?+

Only just been able to get on to view answers so thank you and sorry! Wow, really? I drink quite a lot of water and exercise regularly and am not a sun worshipper, I had just been on a heavy weekend drinking in London though so I expect I was dehydrated at the time! I think u gotto check if u r diabetic... coz some of them do have marks on their skin.... which wont disappear... well i think u jus check it out....

Nothing wrong with you - trouble is the massage table. Complain & get a free re-do with extra padding on table!
