how can I lighten my dark brown hair that I coloured. It looks almost black and I was trying to get to my natural mediumn brown

it will have to be stripped out by a HAIRDRESSER!! DON'T try it at home!!

or you could have some lighter highlight to make it feel lighter then slowly go lighter all over each time.

I have done the exact same thing. After years of dying my hair, i wanted it back to a nice natural dark/medium brown like my own. I bought a 'dark brown' colour and its gone black! i did this around a month ago and its still very dark. Just to let you know, you're not the only one to make the mistake :) i'm living with it too, hehe xxx
