do pregnant woman lose their looks ?

my wife is heavily pregnant,,she has lost her good looks and has put on loads of weight,,is this normal,,she was very beautifull before , a real stunner but shes lost it,i hope she gets her looks back,her face has ballooned up really big and she doesnt look the same,,off course i still think shes attractive and i love her with all of my heart but i just want my wife back the way she used to look...

I agree with him Kate. He was asking an honest question about a woman he loves. He just wanted to know if that woman would return.
You were horrible, judgemental and plain nasty so shame on you.
She'll be ok tatu. She'll be back to normal in a few weeks after birth. Except for the belly which might take a few months.

if you still find her attractive then heres the problem? People change over time, when she is old and grey will you complain. Just accept that having a baby can alter her appearance, maybe shortterm, maybe forever.
But love should be about more than looks.
Didnt you worry about her mood swings not so long ago too? Maybe you should try and read up on what her body is going through. Theres a good book called "a Blokes Guide to Pregnancy" thats worth a read. Both of you may enjoy it.

thanks charlie chan and ummmm......i wasnt speaking disrespectfully about my wife,,as i say i love her to bits,,,what annoyed me enough to post this question was this morning when i was out with her two girls were laughing at her,,i didnt mention this to my wife,,but it hurt me,,it really upset me,i think she seen them too but didnt let on,,i think they were laughing because she cannot walk properly now ,,she is too big...lots of you on here have just jumped on the bandwagon ,,,read the question properly before u post in future......
Tatu .. Once again why should you care what other people think.. you seem to worry about this more than anything else.. Does it reflect badly on you if your wife doesn't look fabulous anymore.. You say "I just want my wife back the way she used to look" .....underline the word LOOK..looks are obviously more important to you than anything else.. what happens if she doesn't lose all her babyfat .. It happens to a lot of women..You gonna dump her as you obviously won't be happy with a fat wife..
Mate, you are not alone - the both times that Mrs Flop was pregnant, if it didn't move in our house it was eaten.
She got absolutely massive - fortunately, both times she had the determination and willpower to shift it and once again is back to her slim size 10 self.
It is of course horses for courses, but I just can't get on board with all this "oh doesn't she look lovely" pony that people come out with. No, she looks fat.
I have never found fat women attractive, and I do not find pregnant women attractive - thank gawd she completely went off sex while pregnant as I don't think, certainly in the latter stages, I could've, ahem, risen to the occassion.

Well all I can say to Tatu and his supporters is that my daughter is obviously married to a Prince among Men ( I had suspected but you have confirmed it) because when my daughter was first pregnant over 11 years ago it had become fashionable not to wear big baggy maternity dresses but normal clothes. ..My daughter was out one day with her husband (it was in the summer so it would have been in the last month or so of her pregnancy - ergo- fat!) and her husband saw two women look at her in her tight dress and make some sort of comment.. To which he he immediately turned on them and said "Yes that's right my wife is pregnant do you have a problem with that?" and the two women scuttled off...Tatu that's what a real man does he defends his wife - not whinges about it like you have..
Give her a break! She's probably gained a bit of weight due to water retention, which is normal. No two pregnancies are ever the same and there could be any number of reasons why her apperance has changed. Try reading up on it. And spare a thought for the woman who has agreed to carry a child for you in the first place.
FFS he's not talking about pregnancy. He's asking if his wife will return to the beautiful woman she was before. A perfectly reasonable question in my opinion.

i hope she never reads this for your sake, if it was me i would be so upset by what youve said 'shes lost her good looks
she WAS beutiful before, she WAS a stunner etc. I put on 4 stone on both my pregnancies and im still trying to lose it. Shes carrying your baby she was bound to put on weight, you need to be supportive not judgemental. Imagine how she is feeling, shes probably feeling insecure, scared, and quite frankly fed up if she is that big now. Treat her, give her lots of hugs and support and encouragement, perhaps suggest some long walks with eachother, and you can even carry on with that when the baby is born! If you notice she is comfort eating, offer to cook good healthy alternitives for you both. good luck !

He's stated that he loves his wife. Pregnancy is a temporary thing and he wants to know if she'll go back to normal.
Car accident is a permanent thing so you can't pass judgement on how he'll feel about that. It also had nothing to do with the question....!!!!!
