For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.well thats utter rubbish you fool. no wonder we have a nation of people unable to manage their weight. you will not lose 20lbs of fat in 30 days. it is fairly easy to lose, correct, with a little determination, but not in that time frame. as for the atkins diet, personally I think its a crock of ****, carbs are one of teh basic food groups. most of the effect is based around water loss and the increased feeling of fullness we get from digesting protein.
its 90% calorific intake that determines such things.
how did they get it wrong allen? I think if you delved deeper into your diet you would have found that simply by eliminating carbs and decreasing hunger needs from increaed protein intake your overall calorie intake was reduced. Did you try simple calorie reduction? 'oh I did but it didn't work' - sure.
The benefits you describe are endemic to simple weight loss, not following the atkins diet. I suspect from your previous weight and ill health you were a horrendously unhealthy eater who found the atkins diet the easiet way to understand how to lose fat.
