I had an operation on my shoulder last Friday , since when I've been on very strong pain killers . Intravenous morphine in the hospital & since then 4 times a day a cocktail consisting of 2 tramadol 50mg , 2 paracetamols & 1 diclofenich (sp?) the pain varied from bad to agony . My friend just came round with some grass - marijuana - I had 3 small pipes & the pain has gone !

Blimey , quiet here isn't it ?
Hi BilluSugger,

I agree with you!!! best neuro pain killer ever and no gut rot/pain/constipation lol I can have a spray called Sativex from my neuro and he laughed when I asked if you get stoned off it... yes was the answer :)

I do partake with a vapourizer the natural stuff though...

Yes, legalise it. I'm sure they'd make a fortune in tax revenue and the control of strength (no skunk) would be much better.

Glad you're not in so much pain now. xxx
alcohol kills pain....that's legal! Pot will damage lungs and alcohol damages liver - all in good time.
lol Terambulan.... I'm really ill and dying anyway so that argument is lost on me!!!

I'm definitely going in sideways.... champers in one hand and a big reefer in the other!!!! :D XXX
you wouldn't be the first, luxury....better than being run over by a bus! Am 2 steps behind ;)
:D you be careful Teram... they come in threes them buses...
not down my way.....1 bus every 2h. Even the painkiller pills cause stomach bleeding. Think I'll stick to the Bells!
luxury......bit of a difference here.
You are dying and I accept your arguement.
Billu has had a shoulder operation and presumably he isn't dying, so for him there may be addiction, lung cancer and mental abnormalities to deal with.
Knew you'd turn up sqad617 - spoil-sport! we want alternative medicines! ;)
teram.....LOL well....how about Spanish Fly?....that's alternative.
everything in moderation Sqad :) xxx

btw... Tramadol is highly physically addictive, as is codeine and opiates generally.

Is alcohol physically addictive? or does the huamn consuming it have to be that way predisposed...

Mental problems? again... I think it already has to be there...

A Bells man Teram eh? I like a snifter of Asbach brandy meself ;) xxx

Well I'm a recovering alcoholic nearly 8 years sober, 45 years old . Gave up fags with no 'aids' . I think rather than give me mental problems, I have the knowledge & experience to deal with it .
Well done BilluSugger!!! have a nice relaxed pain free evening with the pipe :) xxx
BilluSugger...you have my admiration - I only drink if pain is unbearable and can't sleep. A toddy soon knocks me out. Another method is to pinch my leg to divert the pain. When pinch released the original pain is gone. Mind over matter!

Thanks , bye for now
as a none smoker i use it in my baking and yes it is helpful to combat pain
I've never taken illegal drugs. But I have told friends who I know partake, that if I am ever in unbearable pain I will look to them to supply me. As an ex smoker I would prefer to get the wife to bake me a cake!!
