Can you give blood if you have a tattoo?

Yes, but I believe there must be a gap of at least 12 months from the time you had the tattoo until the time of your donation.

Simular with peircing and as far as I am aware they test you for diseases

it did used to be a 12 month wait until you could give blood but i am sure i read somewhere it is now only 6 months.

oh, i just checked and found out it IS 12 months you have to wait. i must have mis-read whatever it was i was reading
