I've been told I have this by the doc this morning .. I've always got stomach problems but it's an everday problem now.. She just told me to eat healthier but I eat quite heathly as it is . Does anyone eles suffer ? An can u suggest wat foods are best to keep this under controll .. Thanks :)

I actually agree with squad. Doctors diagnose IBS when they have gone through their list of all other likely diagnosis that fit your list of symptoms.
It may be that you have something else.
I accepted the IBS diagnosis and made some changes to my diet and I found a massive improvement in the health of digestive tract.

10:20 jonah.....unless you have been investigated by a Gastro-Enterologist including Colonoscopy, then do NOT accept the diagnosis of IBS.

around ten years ago aa good friend of mine was told he had IBS 8 months later he died of cancer aged 37 , sorry to be blunt but sqads advice is good advice.
