If you received flowers after a first date, what would you think?

I'd be over the moon -  because I definatly made a good impression. Obviously it would also depend upon whether I liked him too.

It's a nice way of telling someone that you really enjoyed the date and would like to see them again.  It may be easier for them to do this than tell you face to face.  If you like the person, contact them to say thanks and it will make it easier to ask you out again.  If you don't want to see them again, it does make it more difficult!

I would rejoice in the fact that good old-fashioned romance is alive and well, and getting involved with you!

The first bunch of flowers I ever received from a boyfriend was on my birthday.  It said 'Happy Birthday Flower, from a Keen Bee'.  It has always made me smile to this day.

I'd think that that the sender was thoughtful, put a tick against that with a smile on my face and see what happens

The day after the first date with my (now) husband, I got home from work to find a little brown envelope on the floor of the hall.

The previous evening, we had discussed anything and everything and when I opened the parcel, I was delighted to find a little toy frog with a label on saying: From an admirer. I had told him I collect frogs, so was pleased he had made the effort.

So, I agree with what everyone else has said, and am glad there are still romantic blokes about!

I would probably feel a bit girly and I would wonder if it is normal for a woman to send a man flowers. Ha ha.

What kind of flowers?

I sent my wife a dozen roses and a teddy bear after our first date because I knew she was the one. That was 9 years ago and we have been married for 8 years.

If they are roses and you are not sure that he is the one for you...watch out. Otherwise he is just saying he had a great time and he would like to see you again.

My husband has always & still does buy me flowers. Not for any particular reason, other than he loves me - ain't that sweet!
