Unusual Declarations of Love
I was just reading the thread on chat up lines and was thinking about how my husband first told me that he 'loved' me. It was hilarious. I wonder if anybody else has any stories to tell.
You can tell I'm bored! I'm back to work tomorrow after a long time off sick, so I'm making the most of today.

One morning, much to my embarrassment I found he'd written in 2ft high letters I Love 'noddy' outside my house. And then he carved our names into a bench in the woodwork room of a brand new school. He got into trouble but the names remained for years. Often wonder about him.
(hope you sort your mum's problems Fp)
Well, it only seems like yesterday, and will stick in my mind in all its detail forever. We were in his parents kitchen having a coffee after a night out. I was actually making the coffee when he came up and put his arms around me and said:
"You know, you remind me of my dog"
You can imagine my first reaction.
Then he said:
"You look like my dog, you have the same sad brown eyes. I do love my dog, so I suppose I must love you".
The dog in question was a male German Shepherd called Prince.
The proposal was about three months later, but that's another story.
LOL, Rock Mommy!
My husband and I were both absolutely blotto when we decided to get married. In fact, we got thrown out of a restaurant. It was in Benidorm of all places! When I woke up the next morning I couldn't believe what had happened. I think it was a great shock to both of us as we both were very anti marriage. We got married 6 weeks later! That was in 1972.
