Is it true that after a while hayfever tablets stop being effective?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.i got to a point where after over 10 years of suffering, taking tablets and using nasal sprays, in the end i got so bad with hayfever nothing worked, i swear rubbing my eyes so much has given me bags as i would rub and rub as it drove me mad. i then discovered that i could have a steroid injection for it. it was like a miracle cure overnight, incredible. i felt that my life had suddenly changed so much for the better. i could have windows open, walk down country lanes, sit outside pubs of an evening, not have to have a shower every time i came in with pollen on me. they say that steroid injections can thin the bones but this really didnt deter me, i would have the jab may time, normally in june i began to suffer, and it would still be effective in september. i would definitely recommnend this though its obviously down to you. good luck in sorting this out, hayfever is just the worst.
