I have cometo a conclusion that you have to love your self and treat your self with respect. forget about giving your a hard time chasing rainbows. if you love your self you get complete sence of pride. you will see people for who they realy are. can you discover your soul?

what a greatanswer, know your worth first if you don,t then you let others abuse you. it took me a long time to understand that I am worth a lot. you can discover your soul and be in harmony with yourbody.
I guess love your self enough but not toomuch that no one else matters. how do you define limits?

for a long time i hated myself, and people hurt me because I allowed them to, but for the last month I discovered to love my self and no one that hurt me matters any more, cuz I am worth more then them.

no its not deep its a good subject to discuss. do you not think self respect will only come from loveing you self first. i dont mean the type of love that hurts other people what i mean is love your body and soul.
look in the merror and thank God for making you who you are a beautifull person one of a kind.
look after your body, eat and drink well, wear and live nicely. work hard and beable to buy your desires. dont be fooled by blind love from others who will use /abuse you and leave you hurt.
don,t allow them in to your world because you know your worth.

Yes I know where you're coming from.
Self respect is very important as if you don't respect yourself why should anyone else and sometimes they won't.
I am working on getting self respect at the moment. I was thinking though that if I want to stay in touch with an ex that treated me badly that would mean that I won't be allowing myself to hav efull self respect but then maybe if I am a big enough person to forgive him, which I think I am, then I can still be in touch and have full self respect.
But you have to stand up to people and not let people hurt you. You can't let the cycle continue.

4getmenot yes its nice if people can see your happy. but then you could be pretending puting on a front youcant pretend to love your self that has to come from within.
I work in a largr organisation and am face of the company, i often check my face in the merror and the old man who sits cross me starts to sing merror merror on the wall in a nasty way... i ignore me and do it even more. I do this cuz I love my self and am not hurting any one else in process.
this gives me confedence and ability to deal with unhappy people like him.
