Is it true that smoking the stalks from skunk will make you impotent? My boyfriend keeps telling me he wont touch those coz of that but i dont know if i believe him! What, if any are the effects on women?

When I was younger the common wisdom was that the stems were especially bad for men AND women, though we never quite knew why. No offence, but the practice was reserved for the pathetically desparate along with picking through people's ashtrays for tobacco remnants and drinking the flat beer leftover in cans found on the floor. Do you smoke the seeds too?

I've never heard about the stems being any more dangerous than the leaves, but I remember in A'level biology I learnt that regular smokers' sperms grow two tails and so can't swim properly.  They crash on their way to finding the egg thus male canabis smokers' are prone to infertility.  I dont know about impotence though, or what affect it has on females so my answer was a bit pointless really, but interesting nonetheless.

I heard that if you smoke weed, eat junk food and drink heavily then your sperm end up looking like an octopus???

The stems will not make you any more impotent than any other part of the bud / flower. However they don't contain any THC which is the active compund found in cannibas, so it's not worth smoking them anyway!
