Just a quickie on the off chance someone knows... Hurt the back of my knee a bit on Saturday, it's flaring up a bit this evening. I've got one of those elastoplast knee support things with the velcro. I assume I'm not supposed to wear that to bed but I am supposed to use it in the gym and when walking around in general?

Cheers!

''I assume I'm not supposed to wear that to bed''

Not unless you're planning to put unnecessary strain on your knee joints... you know... like... if they were bent at... for example... an extreme angle... for some reason...

or other...

;-)
Top answer snags!!!
On a serious note, no - it will restrict the blood flow while inactive.
just a hint don`t wear joint supports in bed but if possible put it on before you actually get out of bed for maximum effect

Thanks mamyalynne.

Snags.... Now why would anyone be bent at extreme angles in bed? How would they sleep?! ;0)
Errr I don't think snags was thinking about sleep! Now what else could it be?

Well he knows I like yoga so maybe it was something to do with the downward dog position... Although why you'd do that position on your bed I couldn't fathom.

Morning sweetcheeks! It's twingy... It doesn't particularly like being bent with weight put on it but it seems more behind the knee to the side. I think I did it on Saturday in the gym but I was at body combat last night and some of those kicks may have aggrivated it.

Have you ever heard that dance song 'sweetheart'? We use that song to mimic the movements of punching someone while they're down on the floor followed by a knee to the head. I used to really like that song.

I don't want a week off though.. It's body pump and yoga tonight. I'll speak to the instructors and see what they say.

I prefer nachos to chocolate and as it's you, I'll forgo the rugy players and we can go for drinkies instead!

Ha! I'm such a tit lately, I thought you wanted a link to the yoga postiion... Doh!

Turns out, after a long time thinking the song is called 'sweetheart' it evidently isn't! I'll see if I can figure it out.
