I really want to lose weight and have lost count the diets I've tried. Cereal diet, boring lost about 3lbs and put it back on. Eating 6 times a day and exercising 1hr each day whilst drinking lots of water, put on weight. Wholemeal cereal for breakfast, salad for lunch and normal tea and exercise, nothing lost. Just grapes all day and water. Nadda!! I think I'm going to become a coke addict it's the only way :-(

They totally mess up your metabolism because the body thinks it is being starved and your metabolism slows down to store it's reserves. I was very ill about 10 years ago and couldn't eat. I lost loads of weight in a short while and when I was better I piled on the weight. It took me ages to get my metabolism sorted out!!
What about the idiot proof diet? I haven't tried it but some of my colleagues have and most of them lost between 8 and 10 llbs in a week! Maybe not a long term fix but might be worth a shot before your holiday?

Just go on holiday and enjoy yourself. You are what you are and people are too busy really to take much notice of what other people look like in swimsuits. We are too body obsessed!!

Know how you feel, im about a stone overweight, and they say that last stone is the hardest to shed....
I tried a dress on yesterday and couldnt believe how big I looked in it, I told my fella and his reply was, well ur bum has got a little bit bigger...I could have cried.... It has inspired me to shed the pounds!
So now cut down on all my tea drinking, and eating less...feelin miserable, so your not alone!!!

ut at least i dont suffer from your ''hideous leg syndrome" do you look like a duck covered in warts ? eeewwwwwwwwww disgusting ,please tell me you dont have a boyfriend and when your on holiday do not wear anything except trousers to cover up your gammy rucksack thighs, sunken calves , dumpling knees and if you go on the pull get the guy fcking obliterated on drink first to save you the embarrasment of him jumping off the 5th floor balcony to escape your ''devil pins''
every night im here you talk about alcohol,pies chips butter fizzy drink cheese pizza burgers etc..................stop eating these foods and lose the bl00dy weight ! carry on eating them then expect to look like an inflated elephant !

Get some exercise! Try running up and down flights of stairs 30 times a day... something to get you hot and sweaty. Cycling?
I joined a gym last year and by going twice a week (not religiously either) I lost 8 pounds and didnt even change what I ate!
My metabolism is now faster than it used to be so even if I miss my class now and then my weight stays same.
Also - remember muscle weighs more than fat. So you may not weigh loads less but your shape can change quite a bit!
Get down to your local aerobics classes. I really think they are fun!
