what is the age you know of the oldest lady to get pregnant ? my nan was 46 when she gave birth to her last child

i should of said to get pregnant naturally thats what i ment sudfb
but looking at that how awful for those kids

My Mum - she gave birth to my youngest brother on her 42nd birthday, way back in 1952.

bet it seemed ancient then doesnt seem so old these days does it?

I'm a genealogy nutter and quite a few of my female ancestors gave birth in their mid and late forties.....considering that life expectancy was much shorter then they were truly 'old' mothers.....

I agree, some women did look ancient way back then zzxxee!

Fortunately, my Mum looked very young for her age & was very active. She had the most amazing figure, even after having 10 children, plus one still-born. (I'm the 7th).

I read something about this very recently.
The oldest woman in this country to become pregnant naturally was 59.

my nan had her last child at the ripe old age of 53, but she said after he was born her and my grandfather slept seperatly after that lol
