No.
What is wrong with Menopace tablets???!!!!

I get terrible hot flushes and have tried every remedy under the sun with no luck!!!!
Linda....be more specific......do you mean "post menopause" or "postmenopausal?"............my answer is the same anyway..........LOL
HRT replaces hormone loss for as long as you take it, up to 60y being the deadline. When HRT is stopped the flushes begin - so HRT delays the inevitable.

Hot flushes recede thru time and re-appear at times of excitement or stress. Deep steady breathing & regular heartbeat exercises help.
tambo...read the bloody question..........she said "HERBAL REMEDIES"
Sage is helpful for the hot flushes. The tablets are better than the tea as there`s more sage in them. Black cohosh & wild yam are also heplful. BTW. The flushes can go on for the rest of your life. I know a lady who`s 80 that still gets them. I`ve been getting them for 27 years.
Beejay....I am a bit confused.....you extol the virtue of sage, but then you say that you know a lady of 80 and you have had them for 27yrs........my question is, why don't you take sage and advise your 80yr old friend to take sage?

Squd. I said sage can HELP. I didn`t say that it STOPS it.
beejay....sorry.
I am sorry but I have to make this post as it will keep bugging me!

Beejay your 10:46 post is an example of misplaced sentences in which confusion will evidently arise. The sentence - 'The flushes can go on for the rest of your life', should be your first sentence as it addresses Linda's question. Then followed by your friend's and your own experience, then a suggestion and a possible solution. So in effect your post should read:

The flushes can go on for the rest of your life. I know a Lady who is 80 years that still gets them. I've been getting them for 27 years. Sage is helpful for the hot flushes. The tablets are better than the tea as there's more sage in them. Black Cohosh & Wild Yam are also helpful.

I am not personally attacking you and you are more than welcome to disagree with me. I also accept that you may have written it as it formed in your mind which is understandable. I am simply using your post as an example of the sentence structures in threads and hence the many different responses and interpretations people make. This would avoid confusion, argument (in some posts) and the need to further clarify. If you are offended, don't worry, I have offended enough on one of the other AB sites already. I sincerely apologise again for picking your post and feel free to correct me at any time.
This is sadly impossible, but some or all of the methods outlined here might make you feel better about the situation , plus - wearing only natural fibres so they wick sweat away from your body - less sweaty and uncomfortable. Facials and massages, saunas and all that jazz to keep you feeling good about yourself. A course of HRT will only delay the inevitable although if it makes you feel better then it is the right thing for you.
If anyone has a fair sized Tesco nearby, they do a herbal supplement with the same ingredients as Menopace but for half the price - BUT - if you get there quickly they are on offer for just 40p a pack AND are also on a 3 for 2 offer ..... I bought them long before they had this offer and found them very helpful, taken alongside sainsburys black Cohosh . I take one of each per day and my hot flushes have dissapeared. Hope this helps !
Seadragon. I`m sorry that my post was not written to your satisfaction. However, I do not think that the way it was written caused any confusion. If it did, maybe it would be better if I did not post in future as I would not like to confuse anyone.
beejay...c'mon, don't take it so seriously ALTHOUGH, I did think that Seadragon's reply was over the top and unnecessary.
Thx squad. x
I've tried near enough every tablet under the sun lol, now I take nothing at all. They are just a get rich scheme. Why dont you try some yoga or relaxation method. Good luck
See, Beejaybee, here is another example of the problems caused by cyber communication. A person gets offended so easily! I didn't mean to offend you at all and I am sorry that I did. I don't know why you just didn't tell me to p@ss off instead of feeling the need to withdraw from the site?

I was hoping you would offer your opinion on what I said? I was not personally attacking you. The exchange simply exhibited a classic example of the way language is written and its interpretation without other factors of communication (e.g phone communication involves speech - intonation etc as well as the words minus facial expression) I found that short dialogue between you and Sqad interesting from an analytical point of view. Sorry you were upset by it.

Linda try Dr Marilyn Glenvilles website

http://www.marilynglenville.com/

or Dr Mark Atkinson

http://www.drmarkatkinson.com/

I can recommend his books.

Also look into other methods of complementary therapies such as Reiki, Reflexology etc. These can help with rebalancing and relaxation.

Make sure you get a good registered practitioner thoguh and not one of the quacks, look for profesional qualifcations and ask to the see their certificates as any therapist worth there salt will be happy to oblige.
