me vs housemates

my housemates have turned on the heating, and i hate it. i hate being too warm, i prefer to have airy and cool room. i get headaches and heat spots when its too warm and dries my skin and eyes!! my room is the only place thats cool (henc window is open). however i do get really warm - hot really easily!

i live with two men, and they say they are freeeeeeeeeeeeeezing.... i say they are wimps. it is not even cold and they say they are freezing!

unless theres summut wrong with me. i just dont like warmth and i get too warm really easily! my whole body is reallly hot, u could prob cook an egg on me.

Hi W/B Do you not have radiator thermostats fitted on all rads? If so you can turn your rad down or off.If you do not have rad/stats you can with pliers turn rad controls off altogether. Hope this helps.Ron.

I'm always hot too - tell them to put a jumper on - or 2 - they can always put on clothes

oh and say that as they want the heating on they can pay the bill as you're not chipping in for something you don't want...

Aww thanks guys. The heating is on til 11pm and 3AM to 9AM.

My rooms radiator is turned off, the window is open 24/7 and it is the only room i can cool down and get some air. Every room is too hot for me. i cant stand it. im in my room now to cool down. (i just looked at the temp thing on the wall down stairs, they put it up to 26 degrees. they are flipping mad, ive turned it down to 19 degrees which should b the normal temp. for me i would turn off the central heating altogether, surely its tooo early to turn them on??

Cath regards to the bills, its included in the rent, if the landlord put the rent up, im not paying a single penny!! oh and i cant tell them to put jumper on, its three against one. (one of the lads gf is living here too free rent in his room and the landlord dosnt know)

im just like you, i get too warm really easily aswell, i wish i did feel the cold a bit more dont you?!
my radiator is always off in my bedroom and my window is always open 24/7 too, no matter what the weather is like outside as i also like a cool and airy room and cant stand being too hot and stifled.
can you not get yourself an electric fan for your room? i have one in here and couldnt do without it.

my room is fine with the window open, nice, cool & airy. but im beginning to get rashes and heat spots =( and in the morning my throat is really dry and it hurts.

my housemates are being a bit funny with me cos im always in my room. i did explain to them that i'm off to my room to cool down and get some air!!!

get yourself a fan then whitebear! lol .. theyre not too dear attall, and youll wonder how did you ever manaage without it once you get it plugged in and its cooling you down.
im laying here now all nice and snug and warm under the quilt in bed, my window is open as it always is and ive nice cool air blowing on me from my fan...
if your radiator is on, ive heard sitting a dish of water by it helps the air from getting too dry, and it might help with your dry throat and heat spots too..?
