I have really bad dandruff, i keep my hair well olied as i can't manage it when it is dry. After every wash i oil it and when i part my hair its bloody there. i heard that tea tree shampoo is good. is this true? is there anything natural i can use(no anti-dandruff shampoos)
There is a very good one that I bought from Holland and Barratt (I think!) called Tea Tree Oil Hair and Scalp Therapy Shampoo. Not cheap but the bottle is huge - 500ml.
It's an all natural product and made by Jason natural products.
I think most anti dandruff shampoos have zinc in them, its the common "cure " for the problem. Tea tree oil is good for dandruff, (and aslo dabbed neat on spots) T-Gel shampoo, available in Boots), which contains coal tar is also very effective, and actually leaves your hair feeling good too!
I had dandruff for years tried all the various anti dandruff shampoos then a Dr. recommended a shampoo called Selsun. It really works (sorry if I sound like a commercial). It is available without prescription from chemists.
