Solpadol overdose
6 Answers
I took 7 tablets of Solpadol at once with a lot of alcohol in the early hours of Friday morning.
I wasn't sick after, I felt dizzy and unwell but I just went to bed.
I know that the recommended maximum amount is 8 a day so I should be ok but I was just wondering if taking 7 all at once and with the alcohol would change the effects?
Does anyone know if I'll have cause any lasting damage?
Thanks,
Elle.

"An overdose of paracetamol is dangerous and capable of causing serious damage to the liver and kidneys. You should never exceed the dose stated in the information leaflet supplied with this medicine. Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose with this medicine, even if you feel well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage".

But, before you start panicking, read this (which suggests that your overdose of paracetamol was actually well below 'danger level'):

Sqad- I know it wasn't smart, it was extremely stupid. Hopefully learned from it though, in a strange way I can be glad I stopped myself at 7.
Chris, thanks very much. I can have peice of mind now. Been having abdominal and lower back pains so that's why I was worried but I can now attribute those to other things.
Thanks again guys,
Elle.
