28 Answers
just want to ask,
does anyone else get a butterfly like feeling in their chest attall?
ive just had it as im laying here watching tv, it only last for about 3 or 4 seconds and it goes when i kind of brace myself.
i get it every now and then when im relaxing, its not painful whatsoever, just feels like a fluttering butterfly in there.
does anyone else have this and do you know why or what causes it to happen?
thanks alot.

I've had this since I was little. It was a lot worse while I was pregnant last year and I saw a cardiologist. Sometimes I could feel my heart stop for a few seconds, then kind of flutter as if it was catching up. Turned out I have a small leak in a valve that had been exacerbated by my heart having to work harder at the time. Doc said nothing at all to worry about unless there's ever any pain or breathlessness.
