Does anyone know if you can eat fruit when on the Atkins diet and if so, does this include bananas?

atkins diet is just another fad, you will regain the weight the second you return to eating normal food, best advice is to train yourself to eat healthier meals.

His doctors (who worked for his company) and his wife have a vested interest in trying to prove he wasn't obese Sqad.
I have read many reports that say otherwise but can't be bothered trying to find any now.
Many medical experts have said the atkins diet can be dangerous to health and that the weight goes straight back on after you stop it.Thats all I need to know.

Thanks for your answers. I know Atkins is only short term but I want to lose some weight before Xmas then I will try the healthy eating option which is why I wanted to know if I can still eat fruit on the Atkins but Sqad says ' No fruit allowed as fruit is carbohydrate ' I know banana is, but didn't realise all fruit is.

about.com is an excellent site, to do the atkins effectively you have to do the induction then the full atkins, the link will give you advice on the amount and type of food you ill be allowed to eat at this stage.
it looks very fussy, with only a slight glance, I can see why so many people cannot maintain the diet. you had better stock up on breath fresheners as well.
