Sorry to see no one has bothered to answer your query.  Aspirin is, at it's most basic, a completely natural product.  It is derived from the inner lining of the bark of the common willow.  Used as directed, it is still the best all around pain and fever reliever.  It does have some tendencies for stomach upset and used indiscrimanently can cause ulcers in the stomach.  The modern versions are coated to help this problem...
