hi i am only 19 and have been having these pains for several years they increase when its cold or i start to put on weight, my knees also click  and i can hear a grinding noise when i move them - all my joints are like this but my knees the worst - when i ever i go to the doctor or doctors they send me away saying it nothing and that i shouldn't worry it because i am grwing. the areas most affected are my knees and lower back - i know i have stopped grwing because my epipyseal have fused - as shown by a recent x-ray- so what should i do

also i have always seem to thick mucus in my throat - i was given a bronchodilator - but again i know that won't do anything except relax the muscles lining the airways -

if any can help -physician  or not i would be grateful

It could just be that you have dodgy knees- I always have had, and it is nothing to do with still growing. At 19 you are pretty much grown, skeleton-wise. I suggest you see an osteopath or chiropractor for your knees and back. And try giving up dairy for the mucus. Dairy is mucus-forming, and you will find it easier to breathe etc without it.
I had the same problem with my knees a few years back and i was around your age aswell.  My doctor said it was lack of cartilage between the joints and to lift weights with my lower leg.  I used oven gloves draped over my leg with a tin of beans in each mitten as a comfortable makeshift dumbell.  A few weeks later it had cleared up and i've been fine ever since.
