Surely you know how you feel?   I wouldnt worry to much but I wouldnt advise you join in or encourage him further.

forget whether you SHOULD be upset.  ARE you upset?  If so, why?   do you think he'll start on hard drugs?  Try to get you involved? Be so stoned that he'll not want to do anything?

my short answer to your question would be "No". but some people might be concerned....the question is, are you?

I'm a bit confused as to how I feel. He use to do it before I met him but he quit, then he told me he's done it a few times this year (about 16 times in total) but I know he would never turn to hard drugs and he says he really wants to quit and he is pretty sure he won't ever do it again - not to my decision but to his! I just don't know how harmful it is etc
at the level he's doing it...less harmful than getting very drunk once a week.   If he's sincere when he says he wants to quit, just try to be supportive of him, and don't get upset if he has a few relapses.  It's good that you guys can talk about it...keep doing that. xx

Very unwise information Billy_Ray. There are kids who look to this site for help with their homework.

If you don't mind your girlfriend taking coke because it makes her better in bed - please keep it to yourself. Some kids can be impressionable & may think it's a good idea to try it. I await the flak.

Good answers, listen to jills - and nice one Billy Ray, at least you have a go at answering, not just emboldening words or writing with italics just to make a point which isn't even answering the question (every time too).  You weren't wrong B!

country_boy - You are right, I might not have  answered Kirsten1982's question on spliffs, but felt the need to reply to Billy_Ray for the reasons already given.

Also CB, you say: (nice one Billy Ray), but have you ever visited a drugs rehabilitation centre, or seen babies born to mother's who are dependant on coke? You must have a very limited view on drug taking & what it can lead to. Have you any children & is this what you would wish fof?

You refer to italics & bold, surely this is what the facilities are for, otherwise they would not be on here at all.

P.S. country_boy, perhaps you'd like to take a look on 'Suggestions - Colours in Posts'.
P.P.S. country_boy - you say: 'Nice one Billy Ray' & 'You weren't wrong B', but I've just noticed that AB Ed has banned his inappropriate answer - so he couldn't have been right either.
No. The state is just a big hypichrite for banning one drug while alcohol is legal. Plz look at my question regarding marijuana on food and drinks I think
Marijuana grows everywhere, serves a thousand different uses, all of which are positive, have you ever considered that it may not be a negative thing? A large majority do it at Universities and if it's not suitable for you - you grow out of it and if it's not too interfering on your life you can handle it for as long as you please. Hard drug use is born out of different motivations, poor social structures for example...if it was just the next step after weed then several people i know would be on them!
A lot of people have been down that road. Some never get off it,some do,but at the end of the day is it just a phase he is going through. It can be very damaging to you health and actually can make you very depressed.Get buisy and you will have no time for that rubbish.Spend your money on something worth while. One can lead on too another that can be alot worse than that. It just gives them a bad attitude to life and makes then lazy
"some people say weed makes you lazy....it doesn't, you just realise it's not worth the ******* effort...'sure, i could get up at dawn, go to work, every day, for the rest of my ******* life......or....i could get up at mid-day, and learn how to play the Citar (Instrument)' " Bill Hicks, 1991
Nice quote Cowboy...

Judging by your previous post about cheating on your bf and your upset about his spliff smoking, can i assume that things are not well between you? Try and work out what YOU want out of the relationship and whether you are well suited to each other. It sounds like you're pretty confused at the moment but you must try and sort out your feelings because it is unlikely that your BF will change much in the short to medium term.
