Yes.

yes?
Yes.
yes (that's just in case Sqad's nswer doesn't seem authoritative enough).
But at least you aksed on a random website rather than consulting a doctor. Why not wash them down with a nice bottle of vodka?
My answers are totally reliable, another-view. The correct ones, anyway.
But he doesn't say how much of each. We don't know what his problem is, so how can you just say "yes"?
yes, just don't exceed the stated dose of any of them.
If you have pain, it might be an idea to space out the para and ibuprofen so that you dont take them together and then have to wait 6 hours for your next dose
you can only answer the question as asked, another-view. You shouldn't (usually) mix vodka and antibiotics; ibuprofen is ok. It's never a good idea to exceed the stated dose of anything, but if filthiesfis wants to know about dosages he can ask again.
the question asks 'can you take painkillers with antibiotics'.
the answer is most definately YES.
what sort, how many and how often are different questions and slightly more complicated.
according to my doctor there is nothing wrong with mixing alcohol and antibiotics except for a very few in which case it would state it on the prescription.....
craft....what has that answer got to do with the question.......;-)
er sorry sqad I was talking to jno.....
craft...sorry my love.
that's okay.....I should have made that clear :-)
anyway filthiestfis, we hope you feel better soon!

Yes thank you very much for your answers. I should have elaborated on my question. It is based on taking the correct dose of all medication. I am used to taking paracetamol and ibuprofen (separetely) at the same time and dont see what the problem would be in taking 2 different kinds of painkillers as long as they do not share the same active ingredient.
Never take dihydrocodiene and tramadol at the same time!,they have different active ingredients but should not be mixed,I found this out when I did just that.lol. I passed out in my kitchen and banged the right side of my face on the way to the floor,I had a lovely black eye and swollen face for several days.
