I've been feeling like this since after new year. I'm okay going for a walk to the shops in the snow, as I love it, but as for anything else I can't be bothered.

Anyone else feeling like it?

Ah, that was so lovely Lottie - 'specially when the bug type bird was plucking at the spider's web like a harp, then falling in love & starting a family - it really warms your cockles!

Nearly 80 years ago - that's very old, lol. Blimey, I've only got 18 years to go before that many years! Arrrggg!

Hope this cheers you up too pusskin. -xx-
Smudge and Pusskin. Are you related by any chance ;o)

P.S. My sister lives in Mount Lawley, Perth. We had the most fantastic time staying with her & her family. They made us so welcome, as did Al's sister in Sydney. I can't believe how much we did in just 5 weeks!

We would love to go back there one day, but as you say, it's such a loooong journey & I don't know if I could take it 20 years later!

Oooo Lottie, 'bloody' snow is allowed! I couldn't believe it when I woke up this morning, as it was pouring with snow & had settled on top of what was already there! It looks so picturesque & it'll be a shame when it's all disappeared - mind you, I'm looking forward to the spring bulbs coming up & the birds flitting about!

Thank you Sachs & all - I'm off out now & sure I will feel better when I get back, in fact I think I already do!

Back again - Brrrr, it feels even colder out there today!

Sorry Lottie, forgot to answer your last question.

Yes, pusskin & I are related. I introduced her to AB some time back when visiting her (50 miles away). She was really pleased at the time as she'd recently retired, but doesn't come on here very often, a bit like you & I at times. ;o}

They didn't have any indoor daff plants today Lottie, but will do in the next couple of days, so will buy one then. Thank again. -xx-
Hi smudge - yep my energy levels are definitely down and this is the first time I have felt the weather affect me like this. Joint pains are worse but that I can cope with but when you have no energy its impossible. Roll on some sunshine eh !!!

Hi peri - nice to hear from you, although I wish you were feeling better than you are, poor thing.

Thankfully, I don't get that many aches & pains - well only occasionally in a knee that I had operated on a couple of years back & the odd bout of sciatica if laying on my side, but it soon passes. Having said that, I had traction on my back some years ago, from a pinched nerve in my spine & God that was so painful. These days, I suffer more from acute sinusitis instead - you can't win!

Like you & many of us on here, it'll be nice to see the bulbs shooting up & the daff's swaying in the wind! Until then, take care & keep warm. -xx-
Glad you feel better now Smudge

Off to make chicken soup!! x

Thank you Lottie, I really do feel much better now - hope I feel like it tomorrow too!

Enjoy your chicken soup - Mr Smudge is just grilling some steaks, so looking forward to that & settling down for the night! -xx-
